I was born and raised in Connecticut before moving to Nashville. Like Matthew, I am also the 5th child, but I have one younger sibling as well. Being from a large family, I developed an early realization for the necessity of financial planning. I moved to Nashville in 2017 to earn my degree in Accounting and Management from Lipscomb University. During my time there I completed two tax season internships that strengthened my technical foundation and attention to detail.
After graduating in 2021, I began my professional career here in Music City as a Data Coordinator for Universal Music Publishing and was quickly promoted to a Royalties Analyst. I spent four years analyzing complex royalty statements and financial data; essentially, my job was to ensure songwriters were getting paid correctly and timely for their music. After that, I joined an asset management firm to develop some insights to the broader financial industry, mutual funds and ETFs in particular.
I am now happy to be working alongside my father-in-law as a financial advisor who is committed to serving clients with integrity, analytical discipline, and a long-term perspective. In my free time, I love traveling with my wife and enjoying a good cigar.
